Kelbe's Roller-Coaster Enthusiast List for Wichita Natives

Hello and thanks for visiting my page! My name is Kelbe Fox and I am a student working towards an associates in Web Development. I have studied HTML, CSS, PHP, and MySQL. This site is my final project for Javascript, and I chose my hobby of roller coasters as the subject matter.

As a roller coaster enthusiast, it can be a little daunting to live in a city without its own amusement park. Unfortunately, this is exactly the situation in my hometown of Wichita KS. Fortunately, there are 3 different amusement parks we can easily access within 300 miles (varying between a 2-5 hour drive). Although none of them are huge venues, they each offer a fun and unique lineup of rides. Keep reading to see the list below.

The links above connect to my lists of the roller coasters at each amusement park. I included basic stats like height, length, speed, etc. I also included some personal touches like a uniquely calculated "thrill score" (out of 10) based on those stats. Each ride also has a fun little quote based on how a passenger might react after riding. There's even an embedded video that showcases each roller coaster! At the bottom of each list, you can click a button to reveal which coaster is my personal favorite.

Since I am a roller coaster enthusiast, the coasters are all I focused on with my pages above. Make no mistake though, each of these locations have a ton of different rides, entertainment, and even dining venues that you won't want to miss out on.
